its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

man, i love that song.

well everyone, its snowing in London. its snowed off and on since monday afternoon, but none of it has really stayed; oh well, its still pretty to see it fall. just like the southern part of the US, they really don't kow how to handle it, especially the train system.... its been really crappy the past couple of days. yesterday my train was cancelled because of a "slippery track", what the heck? the ground was only wet, it didn't even freeze.

so, only two and a half weeks left in the UK for me. i must say, as the day approaches i do get more and more sad about leaving all of my friends here. this is especially true because....... are you sitting down?.........i have met a lovely girl. i know what you're thinking, "great friggin timing dork", i know, i know..... and i totally agree with you. her name is Vikki and she goes to the church here. i have known of her for a while and i almost asked her out before Christmas, but i chickened out. but i finally asked her to join a group of us going out for Valentine's Day and we were able to talk a while; i first time we were really able to talk to one another. anyway, i was quite taken with her, so i asked her out and we went out last saturday night to a movie (we saw Sideways, i recommend it, it was very good, sad, but good) and dinner afterward; it was great. we hung out yesterday at the Glow Lounge for quite a while, just talking and enjoying one another's company. anyway, i like her, she likes me, so now we have to decide what to do from here and how things are going go; its really making leaving hard. i know that God wants me to go back home and take care of some things, but why does He send me this lovely relationship now? i must say its a bit confusing, but at the same time i know He's got it all in mind and He knows what is going to happen. i guess i will just leave it to Him as to what happens between Vikki and i and i will continue enjoying the time we have together and getting to know each other more and more. God give me wisdom and patience.
