i can't wait...

since i am well aware that my readers tend to be quite intelligent, i would imagine that you all have gathered that my excitement has something to do with Sigur Ros; well, you would be incredibly right. along with my friend Ben M, i am going to see them this saturday night in Minneapolis...... i cannot friggin wait. they are definitely near the top of my list of bands that i've always wanted to see live, i'm quite lucky to say that a lot of the bands on the list have been seen (Radiohead, Múm, Zero 7, A Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra and Tra-La-La Band, The Streets). there are a few left on the list, such as Bjork, Doves, Sasha, Interpol, Fatboy Slim (would love to see him live on Brighton Beach). anyway, i'm sure i will be nice enough to let you all know how the concert was, though i imagine most of you already know what it will be like: @#$%^ amazing.

there is a small dowside to this whole weekend, however. i do have to work this weekend, which means i have to work from 6am to 11am on saturday, jump in the car and drive up to Minneapolis, enjoy the concert, leave Minneapolis after the concert (which i imagine will be around 1 or so in the morning), drive back, and be a work at 6am to work. it actually probably won't be as bad as i am predicting in my mind, but in my mind it appears that it may suck a bit...... oh well, its totally f-ing worth it.

back from the dead..... again

hello everyone, remember me? i have been quite lazy over the past couple of months in terms of keeping this up-to-date. i wish i could say i have been really busy with really important things, but, alas, i haven't.

anyway, for those of you who don't already know, i have yet again changed what i am going to do and where i am going to do it. after a lot of thinking, i have decided to move back to London in march. i suppose that may not come as a big surprise to some of you as i love living there and have found it a bit tough to live here after i moved back. i don't have a job or a flat lined up yet, but i do have 6 months until i move, so i'm sure i'll have plenty of time. i am really looking forward to being back in London, its such an amazing city, full of rich history and creativity; oh yeah, and the love of my life lives there. i am so looking forward to being able to be with Vikki for longer than a week at a time, it'll be friggin great. well, thats about it for now, thanks for checking back even though its been so long since i last wrote.
